Frizz Media is the 1st Black LGBTQ arts initiative and digital magazine in Western Massachusetts founded by Nigerian artist and writer Soe Noire. Frizz Media (fka Planet Frizz Magazine) was created in 2023, with the mission to celebrate Black Queer whimsy, joy, and creativity. With drag events held in cyberspace through Frizz Drag Nite, and Covid-Cautious performance art shows like Fros and Faes, Frizz Media aims to promote Black creativity and political education as a means of liberation for Black Trans+Queer people.
